Due to the current financial situation caused by the slowdown in the economy, Congress has decided to implement a scheme to put workers of 50 years of age and above on early retirement, thus creating jobs and
reducing unemployment.

Persons selected to be RAPED can apply to Congress to be considered for
the SHAFT program (Special Help After Forced Termination).

Persons who have been RAPED and SHAFTED will be reviewed under the SCREW
program (System Covering Retired-Early Workers).

A person may be RAPED once, SHAFTED twice and SCREWED as many times as
Congress deems appropriate.

Persons who have been RAPED could get AIDS (Additional Income for
Dependants & Spouse) or HERPES (Half Earnings for Retired Personnel
Early Severance).

Obviously persons who have AIDS or HERPES will not be SHAFTED or SCREWED
any further by Congress.

Persons who are not RAPED and are staying on will receive as much SHIT
(Special High Intensity Training) as possible. Congress has always
prided themselves on the amount of SHIT they give our citizens.

Should you feel that you do not receive enough SHIT, please bring this
to the attention of your Congressman, who has been trained to give you
all the SHIT you can handle.

Respecting The Accomplishments And Experience Of Senior Americans.

A nation that doesn’t honor its heroes will soon find itself without heroes to honor. The single most powerful gift we can give older Americans is RESPECT. Whether they are Americans of the Greatest Generation who conquered and lived through the great depression and then went onto 5 years of war to conquer world tyranny; or the war kids (baby boomers and returning Vets) who built the foundation for a modern and prosperous America based on equal rights and justice, we owe older Americans a world of gratitude. Even in this deep recession, this country provides more opportunity for success than our Grandparents could have imagined. It is by their labor that the foundations for our success were laid. It is their dreams that we must remember to embrace, live out and enjoy.

We should welcome retirees back to the workforce if that’s what they want and need. Strangely, Corporate America would rather hire the least business-savvy and least-experienced demographic. So what if these older Americans are working because their promise of retirement was broken? They’ll be every bit as motivated as someone half their age—and a lot more disciplined and dependable. Plus they’ll have twice the experience. This type of experience in the seniors can be used effectively in the work place to mentor the younger less experienced individuals as well as provide and increase the bottom line to businesses.

The benefit of seniors is not only good for corporations but they can contribute to our broken schools, neighborhoods and families. We should use the caring senior adults in our schools and neighborhoods to fill the voids as needed, whereas there’s no government program or dollars spent by them that has succeeded and or can succeed.

We need a recommitment to our seniors and the mentorship they can provide in the workplace, schools and neighborhoods/families. Whether they’re providing career advice, technical training, or just the need for human interaction, our senior citizens can provide tailored attention on an individual level. They need to be an integral part of the American fabric.

If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” ~ Unknown

These are the questions that people over the age of 60 are asking politicians and other people with authority and responsibility.

Will I be able to afford health care when I get too old to work?

Am I one medical emergency away from bankruptcy and ruin?

Is Social Security Going to be there?

Will prescription drugs be so expensive that I’ll be forced to choose between medications and food?

Will I run out of money before I run out of years?

Will I be a financial burden on my spouse or my children?

Will I loose my independence and mobility?

There’s one attribute that defines these seven questions – Control…….. Senior citizens in America now are still in better shape than the rest of the world per se, but as a senior citizen on a fixed income their choices are more limited, the demands in life are greater, the cost of living is higher and health is more fragile. Political types shouldn’t underestimate the bond the seniors have with their social security checks, if you ask them, they’ll tell you it’s their right no I mean it’s more than their right it’s THEIR MONEY. Older American correctly believe that their country leads the way in medical expertise and are rightly pissed off by the fact that more often than not, they can’t afford it or even are denied access to it by the HMO’, Medicare and Medicaid …….

Health Care should be personal not part of an ROI, but this is how seniors think and their thinking and reality of the situation goes like this:

Insurance driven costs and qualifiers limit access and affordability

Bureaucrats in Washington and in the fifty state capitals think that because they tailored perfect health care plans for themselves, they can mandate perfect coverage for the rest of us.

Profit driven pharmaceuticals companies drive up costs and drive out competition for essential medications

And personal-injury lawyers sue our doctors and inflate our premiums…..

Do we really want federally controlled socialized medicine with a track record like this???

Success Tip

Seniors, middle age and younger generations take control, prepare, and live a full healthy life by increasing your income and financial stability in this Business.

~	Paul McCartney (composed when he was 24 years old)

Seniors always carry two things in their pockets: photos of their grandchildren and random dog-eared clippings of the news they think is important. The older we get the easier it is to forget. So if you want to get retirees to engage in a conversation about reforming social security or the health care system there is only one way to do it, have them look at the pictures of their grandchildren while discussing the relevant issues.

For most older people when they’re looking at their grand kids they can’t bring themselves to ask the youngsters to sacrifice for them. It just goes against everything that comes with being a parent or grandparent-we do what we have to so our offspring can have better lives not the other way around. When Social Security was created in 1935, the average adult didn’t live long enough to collect benefits. Today, they’ve twenty years left to live and they plan on living them to their fullest.-That’s a lot of purchasing power for services, health and even starting 2nd careers.

Some people look at older Americans and see a monolithic population. Based on the age group of our senior population we need to view and market to them differently. If you don’t understand the differences you won’t know how to reach them, pitch them or convince them. The differences can be grouped as follows:

• The Greatest Generation (born before 1929).

They may not remember the worst of the depression but they new hard times in the late 1930’s and knew the great depression.

• The War Kids (born 1929—1939).

This was the generation that was old enough to live through the hardship of war, but they missed about everything else. They missed the great depression and were out of the house before their parents bought their first TV. They also were out of college before Elvis and the rise of Rock‘n’Roll.

•	The Newly Retired (1939-1946).

This is the first wave of the Baby Boomer Generation that populates this group a bit older, a bit more traditional and conservative. They were part of the 60’s and the sexual revolution, they invested in stocks and real estate were riding high and are now screwed. They are working to supplement their income in retirement and view the next 20 years of their lives a a career change. They are the best educated and motivated to build a new career.

Success Tips

This newly retired generation of baby boomers is a gold mine to marketers They are still likely to remodel their homes; they still have an average of two leased vehicles; they will still sign petitions and vote; they are likely to play the lottery; they would invest in a home business as a 2nd career; they’re likely to take a long vacation; they will spend more money than all their children – combined. Take these items and market to this generation this business
