The Lifestyle Attributes That Really Matter To Americans

The following are the five top attributes that matter now in these financial times to Americans in order of priority. This was a survey taken including various age, gender and ethnic participants.

1. More Money - Financial success has always been the highest priority for men, now women have out it at the top of their agenda. The financial success is no longer the keeping up with the joneses; it’s just about keeping up.
2. Fewer Hassles – Have you bought a pair of scissors lately? It comes in a shrink wrapped hard plastic shell that is impossible to open without a pair of scissors. Products that don’t perform as advertised, technology that breaks are exasperating your patience and the conclusion is having less of it is the number two day to day priority. Hassles may be unavoidable in many cases, but that causes consumers to be all the more choosey about hassle free products and life changing decisions they get involved in.
3. More Time – This used to be the highest priority for women for good reason whereas women working and raising a family, or better yet the ‘Super Mom’ syndrome have always craved more time.
4. More Choices – The important fact here is the distinction between choice and the right to choose. To most Americans denying them the right to choose is liken to denying Americans their inalienable right to freedom. Our right to choose is summed up as I choose to make my choice…….
5. No Worries – In a time of so munch anxiety, Americans seek out an attribute that is very Un-American in nature, no worries. A hassle is how long it takes your computer to be at a workable stage when you turn it on, a worry is the death of your hard-drive….There’s a difference between inconvenience and crisis….

Looking at these attributes and there level of importance as an American, it’s no wonder people are re-evaluating their goals, dreams and lifestyles. Change is the key word to put in the forefront of your plan and eliminate words like entitlement without earning, but don’t limit your dreams for a better life then it is now..
