This should be read and understood by all Americans whether you’re a Democrat, Republican or Independent.  I received this email and it sums up my feelings and 88% of my fellow Americans..It is now official you are ALL corrupt morons and our ex President and great patriot Jefferson was right about a strong large centralized government:

•     The U.S. Post Service was established in 1775.  They’ve had 234 years to get it right and it is broke.
•     Social Security was established in 1935.  They’ve had 74 years to get it right and it is broke.
•     Fannie Mae was established in 1938.  They’ve had 71 years to get it right and it is broke.
•     War on Poverty started in 1964.  They’ve had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to “the poor” and they only want more and they need it because the federal bureaucracy hasn’t helped them out of poverty but kept the poor down by enabling them.
•     Medicare and Medicaid was established in 1965.  They’ve have had 44 years to get it right and they are broke.
•     Freddie Mac was established in 1970.  They’ve had 39 years to get it right and it is broke.
•     The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil.  It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before.  They’ve had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure. (more…)

These are the questions that people over the age of 60 are asking politicians and other people with authority and responsibility.

  1. Will I be able to afford health care when I get too old to work?
  2. Am I one medical emergency away from bankruptcy and ruin?
  3. Is Social Security Going to be there?
  4. Will prescription drugs be so expensive that I’ll be forced to choose between medications and food?
  5. Will I run out of money before I run out of years?
  6. Will I be a financial burden on my spouse or my children?
  7. Will I loose my independence and mobility?
